Today we have some good news for the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 and BlackBerry Bold 9650 users on Verizon who have been waiting to get BlackBerry OS 6 update on their handsets. Verizon has announced the BB OS 6.0.0.524 update for the Bold 9650 and Curve 3G 9330 users.
The update (BB OS v6.0.0.524) can either be downloaded using the BlackBerry Desktop Software or through web-based upgrade. If you want to download the update through BlackBerry Desktop Software, head over to this download page, enter your 10-digit Verizon Wireless number and click on the “Download Now” to start the download. The file is approximately 100MB in size. Install the software on your PC or Mac, run the program, connect your BlackBerry device and let it download and install the update on your phone.
If you want to try the web-based upgrade, head over to this page, choose “Personal Email / Corporate Email” option, which best applies to you then choose your device in the next page, enter your 10-digit Verizon Wireless number and click the “Download Now” button to start the upgrade process.
