August 3rd has been a great day for Blackberry lovers, as they’ve got to see the announcements of three touches, and two form factors. AT&T has already announced the launch details of BlackBerry Torch 9810, Torch 9860, and BlackBerry Bold 9900 handsets for its HSPA+ 4G network. Sprint and RIM have also teamed up to announce two new BlackBerry smartphones – the touch & type BlackBerry Torch 9850, and the full touch capable BlackBerry Bold 9930. Sprint will carry the BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Torch 9850 handsets beginning this fall. We are already familiar with BlackBerry Bold 9930, which has been already presented by RIM back in May as the world’s first to come with BlackBerry 7 OS. BlackBerry Bold 9930 is also slated to release this year through Verizon Wireless network.
Specs for the BlackBerry Torch 9850 include a 3.7-inch 800 X 480 touchscreen, 1.2GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture, 4GB of built-in storage, 768MB RAM, 1230mAh battery, and it will be the first all touchscreen ‘Berry offered by Sprint. Sprint branded BlackBerry Bold 9930 will feature World Phone capability to take the advantage of international roaming.

BlackBerry Bold 9930 is the most elegant BlackBerry Bold to date, packed with the metal bezel, and it will carry a 2.8-inch 640 X 480) capacitive touch screen display, QWERTY keyboard, Optical Trackpad, 1.2 GHz Single-Core Processor, 768 MB RAM, flash equipped 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording capability, 8 GB on-board memory, microSD slot supporting up to 32 GB cards, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b/g/n, microUSB 2.0, and 1230mAh battery.

Both handsets’ 1.2Ghz processors power under the hood will help RIM’s new handsets to run with BlackBerry 7 operating system quickly and smoothly. Both smartphones also feature Liquid Graphics technology to deliver incredibly fast, smooth performance and a highly responsive touchscreen experience.
Price & Availability
The carrier hasn’t announced the exact release date for BlackBerry Bold 9930, and BB Torch 9850 handsets, but the carrier has promised that it will announce pricing and a launch date later this year when it is close to releasing these phones. According to a previous leak, BB Bold will be hitting the Sprint markets on August 21st.
