Finally, BlackBerry has announced one of the first BlackBerry 10 OS powered devices. BlackBerry’s CEO Thorsten Heins has officially unveiled the new BlackBerry Q10 phone. Q10 is the first BB10 phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard underneath the display. There weren’t much leaks on BlackBerry Q10 keyboard phone and we’ve also been wondering how it will engage with all brand new BlackBerry 10 OS
Carrying RIM’s trademark hardware QWERTY keyboard, the Q10 has got a 3.1-inch 720 by 720 pixel Super AMOLED touchscreen with 330ppi pixel density, and it packs “glass weave cover” on its backside. RIM says BlackBerry Q10 is “thinner, lighter, and stronger than plastic”, and of course it also looks beautiful. Its browser is fast and offers rich media experience.
Other specs are including 2GB of RAM, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage + SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. Connectivity side, you’ll have micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth version 4.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n.
There’s no word yet on the release date and price information of the BlackBerry Q10 handset. The device will be offered both in white and black colors.
