From our previous report, you might have already known that Verizon will start offering the BlackBerry’s smartphone, the BlackBerry Z10 sometime in March. But the exact date wasn’t revealed at that time. Today, we bring you pretty good news regarding the unknown date of availability. Now, the US carrier is accepting pre-orders for the smartphone.
The BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is powered by BlackBerry’s brand new BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system. The device was announced along with BlackBerry Q10. The device with 4.2-inch WXGA screen is packed with a dual-core Krait CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 8MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing camera with 720p HD video calling support, and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD slot. Coming to the connectivity, it supports micro HDMI, micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC, and more. The device has a1800mAh removable battery to provide up to 10 hours of talk time.
For buying the smartphone, you should sign a two-year contract agreement with Verizon. Other carriers like Sprint still keeps mum regarding availability of the device. But T-Mobile is currently offering the device for a down payment of $99. AT&T has already started offering the device from March 22.
