Cricket communication, a leading provider of innovative and wholly-owned subsidiary of Leap wireless International announced on Thursday that it will start launching prepaid iPhone 5 on 28 September, exactly the device is got available just a week ago in US Customers on different Service providers. iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever.
The device comes with a lot of changes and development, including 4G LTE, a 4 inch display and also a lightning, a new dock connector. It operates with the help of iOS 6 platform which brings features like Facebook Integration, Passbook etc. Cricket’s iPhone 5 won’t come at on-contract prices like 16GB at $199 , 32GB at $299 and 64GB at $399. Cricket and Apple teamed up on the iPhone 4S earlier this year.
Cricket doesn’t offer contract-plans. For iPhone owners, that means paying a significant premium on iPhone handsets. The 16GB iPhone 4S, for example, costs $499.99 on Cricket’s service compared to $199 with a two- year agreement. Cricket offers pretty good deals on smartphone plans for unlimited voice calls and text messaging at $50 and this plans also have “unlimited” data that is throttled after you pass your plan’s maximum of 1 GB or 2.5GB of full speed data. There is no word as yet on Cricket’s iPhone 5 pricing.
