Right after the announcement of Dell Streak 7 Tablet, Dell has announced its first Android powered high-end smartphone Dell Venue at CES 2011. Unlike its sib Dell Venue Pro, this is QWERTY-slider less version handset and running Android 2.2 Froyo instead of windows Phone 7.
The smartphone is elegantly designed. Dell sets the “Stage” with its new Android UI to enhance the browsing experience and customizable user experience that simplifies access and usage of content and Users can download the latest tunes and books, or stream radio stations from all over the world with RadioTime.
Dell Venue sports a large 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen with Gorilla glass display, 8 Megapixels camera with auto focused camera with LED flash, 4X digital zoom, 1GB RAM, 512MB ROM, microSD slot for 32GB more memory, Dell Stage widget support, Wi-Fi, HSPA, Bluetooth 2.3, micro USB, full Flash 10.1 support and some other features including support for ActiveSync and QuickOffice.

The Dell Venue also offers access to more than 100,000 downloadable applications through Android Market.
Price & Availability
Launching details and pricing confirmations of Dell Venue haven’t been announced by Dell yet. But according to sources, it may cost around $514 or €390 in Hong Kong.
