Yesterday, we told you about the Jelly Bean roll out progress for the Toshiba Excite 7.7 tablets. On the other side, many owners of Toshiba Excite 10 devices have been eagerly waiting for the company to confirm Android 4.1 update for their tablets. According to the users’ reports, the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update roll out indeed has begun for Excite 10 AT305 tablets.
After upgrading your tablet with Jelly bean build, you will notice new lock screen with Google Search, facial recognition for Lock Screen, different fonts, more info on notification bar, faster keyboard typing, improved Google Voice Search, 3D out put option for HDMI out, and all the regular features of Jelly Bean build.
If the update hasn’t yet hit your tablet yet, you can see if it’s available on your tablet and you know the drill. Hit up Settings –> About Tablet –> System Updates. who knows, It might be sitting there waiting for you to download. Or else, you can also pull the update through Toshiba’s Service Station. But, we are hearing that most of the users aren’t seeing any sign of the Jelly Bean update on the service station.
Once the update finishes though, the Excite 10 will finally be on par with the Excite 7.7 and it will be running Android 4.1.1.000121122.01 Jelly Bean, which brings many notable improvements over Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Enjoy Google Now and Project Butter.
good!
