Apple released iOS 6 yesterday and now the iPhone Dev-team has come up with a Tithered jailbreak. iOS 6 is packed with redesigned Maps app, updated Safari and Mail apps, Facebook integration, enhancement to Siri (the iOS-exclusive personal assistant), addition of iCloud tabs, FaceTime over cellular data update, Apple’s new digital wallet Passbook app, and large improvements to the user interface and much more.
Many iOS device users who have switched and upgraded their iOS device firmware from old iOS firmware version to the new iOS 6 version are now looking to jailbreak iOS 6 for their iDevices. And upgraded iOS 6 device user can jailbreak iOS 6 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod 4G Touch with Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4. It is a tethered jailbreak, currently no untethered jailbreak is available.
This new jailbreak is parallel to the one released for iOS 6.0 GM (Gold Master) proving Tethered jailbreak for limited devices.
Redsn0w 0.9.13dev4 released by iPhone Dev-team for both Windows and Mac. iOS 6 jailbreak is accessible only A4 powered devices. As the new iPHone 5 is powered by an A6 processor, this jailbreak will not work.
