Last month, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean ROM Leaked for variants of HTC One X over XDA Developers forum. It was also claimed that the Leaked Jelly Bean ROM is based on the HTC One X+ and the ROM includes Android 4.1.1 and HTC Sense 4+. They also listed some CID groups which are applicable to work. We also reported that HTC scheduled to roll out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for HTC One X and One S in October. Today, HTC is rolling out the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the unlocked version of HTC One X which is the International device.
This Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, software update contains important enhancements and bug fixes: enhanced User Interface (UI) with better performance in Camera, new landing page and Event/Map view in Gallery and Power management improvement.
Users will first see a small 1.6MB download and then the main 364.54MB Jelly Bean update download. You can check your CID for your devices by heading on over to Google Play and search: CID. If you like to receive OTA update notification, you can try to pink HTC’s update servers by going to Settings> About> Software updates> Check now.
Now, we are able to confirm the update has hit CID_038 and CID_044 devices in India, Argentina, UK, Russia, Dominican Republic, Peru, Brazil, and Sri-Lanka. We also expect the update will be coming to even more markets very soon.
