Although Verizon Wireless has already confirmed the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the LG Spectrum handset, the carrier is yet to provide the details on when exactly the the update will come. It seems an official ICS OTA may happen very soon. Good news for those of you who own a LG Spectrum. A member of XDA has posted an official leaked Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich build for the Verizon branded Spectrum handset.
The new software version is VS920ZV7 and the new build umber is IMM76D. Earlier this month Verizon rolled out a maintenance update VS920ZV6 for the LG Spectrum handset, bringing a few bug fixes and handful of enhancements.
