Microsoft was on full roll over the last weekend. AT&T launched the Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and HTC Windows Phone 8X handsets, while Verizon started offering pre-sales for the HTC 8X and Nokia Lumia 822. Of course, T-Mobile will soon release the Nokia Lumia 810, HTC 8X, and HTC Windows Phone 8S. The most awaited Rovio Angry Birds Star Wars game was also made available for Windows Phone 8 on the launch day, alongside the iOS and Android platforms.
As expected earlier, Microsoft has released the Skype app for Windows Phone 8. In fact, it is a preview release of the Skype for WP8 powered handsets.
You can sign in and always be online and app will host your presence in the cloud on Microsoft serves. So, you don’t have to worry about the battery life of your handsets. Here are some more features of Skype app:
