Earlier this month, Sony started rolling out Jelly Bean update for the Xperia T users. Last month, we also reported that the Sony Xperia S users will get the flavor of Jelly Bean sometime in April after rolling out the update for Sony Xperia T smartphone. Now the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware for Sony Xperia S (LT26i) has been leaked.
Although the manufacturer hasn’t officially rolled out as of now, it can be noted that after updating to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 , Google Now, Project Butter, resizable widgets, richer notifications, improved Voice search, improvements to the camera and gallery applications, and many more enhancements will be available on your smartphone.
From our previous report, it has been confirmed that after updating to Jelly Bean, Xperia S will have Power management, a new Lock Screen, and Screen mirroring. Jelly Bean firmware will carry “extended standby mode” functionality for enhanced power saving and the new “shutter”-based lock screen as well.
You can also note that Sony started introducing mobile tracking service, my Xperia for the Sony Xperia V and Xperia S smartphone users in Sweden.
