This update is said to bring the new build number 7.10.8107.79 for the devices.
Along with the fix for keyboard disappearing issue, the update is also carrying syncing improvisation with Gmail, fixes for Exchange 2003 e-mail support and voicemail notification issues plus a fix to a location service discovering privacy hole that popped-up in Mango. The update also revokes certificates issued by DigiCert which were causing an encryption problem.
Here is the Italian translation regarding the Location service issue:
“It solves a problem of access to the location. After the upgrade, the function IO hub sends to Microsoft anonymous information contact the Wi-Fi access points and antennas for mobile phones in the vicinity, only if you have allowed access to and use of location information from part of the ‘I’m here.'”
