Two prominent European merchants have recently added the Xiaomi 13 Ultra to their inventory, showcasing Xiaomi’s latest flagship smartphone. While certain unofficial sources had claimed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would hit the European market with a hefty price tag of €1,499, the retailers in question have surprisingly listed it at significantly lower prices, akin to the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Earlier this week, a renowned leaker by the handle @billbil_kun disclosed the pricing details for the highly anticipated Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which, until now, had been exclusively available in China. As we previously discussed, @billbil_kun confidently stated that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would bear a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of €1,499, positioning it as one of the pricier options within the realm of Android smartphones.
Interestingly, it appears that Xiaomi has purportedly made the strategic choice to offer the Xiaomi 13 Ultra solely with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, thereby undercutting the pricing of comparable configurations found in competing models such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Contrary to the earlier speculation, it seems that Dutch retailer Belsimpel and its German counterpart Gomibo have now made the Xiaomi 13 Ultra available for purchase in Europe at surprisingly lower prices. According to their listings, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is priced at €1,299 in the Netherlands, €1,277 in Germany, and €1,320 in Ireland. These listings explicitly mention that the offered models are intended for the European market, and they also indicate that the phone is ready to ship within a reasonable timeframe of 5 to 7 business days.
Indeed, the revised pricing for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra places it in a highly competitive position, particularly when considering the bundled features and specifications it offers. The inclusion of a generous 12 GB of RAM, ample 512 GB of storage, a 90W charger, a cable, and a protective case as part of the package further enhances its value proposition.
With the Xiaomi 13 Ultra priced at €1,299 in the Netherlands, €1,277 in Germany, and €1,320 in Ireland for this configuration, it presents a compelling alternative to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which retails at approximately €1,460 for a similar setup. Additionally, it significantly undercuts the pricing of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which reaches a staggering €1,696 when selecting the 512GB variant. This competitive pricing strategy positions the Xiaomi 13 Ultra favorably for consumers who seek a high-end smartphone without compromising on features while offering an attractive cost advantage compared to its prominent competitors.
