This Monday, Sony announced the Sony Xperia Tablet Z in Japan and just after they introduced the device, one of the Japanese carriers, NTT DoCoMo announced the device along with LG Optimus G Pro, Huawei Ascend D2, Sony Xperia Z and more.
Even though the device was launched, Sony kept mum regarding the official price tag of the tablet. Now, we are getting an exciting news about the its pricing info. The Tablet Z has been listed by a popular Finnish retailer Verkkokauppa and is taking pre-order for €799. But it seems the price and availability of the tablet is yet to be confirmed, hence expecting a price drop when it is officially announced in the European market or elsewhere.
The device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Processor, an 8.1MP rear camera, a microSD slot to expand storage, NFC and LTE. The 10.1-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution weighs around 495 grams and measures a 6.9mm thick in size. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is packed with Google’s Android 4.1 mobile operating system. Other salient features of the tablet is it has Waterproof and Dustproof IP55/IP57 certification, Reality Display which enables the representation of high-brightness and high-definition video WUXGA display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, and a feature called S-Force Front Surround 3D that can bring movement and sound together to achieve a sense of spaciousness.
We are hoping that the tablet will also be available in other regions very soon.
