The much-awaited HBO Go app has released for the both Android and iOS platforms and been available to download on Android Market and App Store for just a few short hours. HBO Go is a media streaming service (premium video on demand service) that lets the subscribers to bring all their favorite shows on the go with them, giving them the scope to watch them at any time, from any where. HBO Go app brings a fairly intuitive interface, delivering the original HBO series and various blockbuster films on the Android/iOS device for no extra charge. Users will be able to try the “free preview”, which totalled to three-minute promo clips. It contains 1,400 shows in addition to many sports events and full-length films, which can be streamed live over 3G in addition to Wi-Fi and the HD video quality looks great.
The app won’t work with all providers, except the AT&T U-verse, Charter, Suddenlink, Verizon FiOS, Cox, DirecTV, Dish, or Comcast’s Xfinity providers.
