We have been hearing a lot about the Verizon branded LG Optimus Slider version, which is also known with a code name Gelato Q. Now, we can confirm that the Verizon’s version of Optimus Slider as LG Enlighten, according to the leaked full specs sheet of this handset, and the model number of the Verizon version will be “VS700”.
LG Enlighten will carry all the regular features of an entry-level Android phone. Sporting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, it will be priced at a very affordable price point for sure. There is a 800MHz application processor under the hood, as well as a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.2-inch LCD capacitive display with 320 X 240 resolution, a QWERTY keyboard, 1500mAh battery to provide 360 minutes of talk-time, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB, 3G Mobile Hotspot, a whole host of Google services, and weighs 5.54 ounces. The handset has 150MB of internal memory plus a microSD card slot to expand the memory storage up to 32GB.

The LG Enlighten handset is set to hit the Verizon air waves on August 25th at an unknown price point. LG Gelato Q (or LG Optimus Slider) should hit the Sprint markets on September 11th.
