Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy A Quantum, a unique variant of the Galaxy A71 exclusively available in South Korea. This device initially launched with Android 10 and later received the One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13. The latest One UI 5.1 software update is expected to be the final major update for the Galaxy A Quantum.
Notably, the update comes with firmware version A716SKSU5FWB5, is now available for the Galaxy A Quantum phones on SK Telecom’s network in South Korea. It’s worth noting that the One UI 5.1 update also includes the February 2023 security patch, which addresses over 50 security vulnerabilities, making the Galaxy A Quantum even more secure.
The new One UI 5.1 build includes improved performance and stability, new privacy and security features, as well as updated system apps and a refreshed user interface.
One of the key highlights of One UI 5.1 is the enhanced privacy and security features, which include the ability to generate temporary permissions for apps to access sensitive data, as well as a new privacy dashboard that provides users with a detailed overview of their app permissions and data usage.
Other notable features of the update include an updated camera app with improved image processing and new camera modes, a refreshed gallery app with new editing tools and options, and an updated Samsung Keyboard with improved auto-correction and predictive typing.
For those in South Korea using the Galaxy A Quantum, the One UI 5.1 update can be easily downloaded and installed on their devices by going to Settings, then Software update, and tapping Download and install.
