Speculation is running wild about Samsung’s next A-series smartphone lineup. Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, and Galaxy A54 5G smartphones for India on January 18th. Among these, the Galaxy A14 5G has already been launched for the global markets, and heading to hit India on December 18th. It looks like another Galaxy A series phone, called Galaxy A24 will be joining the aforementioned devices, which will succeed the last year’s Galaxy A23.
The Galaxy A24 5G is edging closer to release, as it has been spotted passing through the Indian BIS certification databases. The BIS listing of the phone confirms that the buds will carry the model number SM-A245F/DS. Apart from the possibility of India launch, not much else is known about this device through the BIS documents.
Based on the previous rumors, the Galaxy A24 5G is expected to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It is also rumored to be powered by Exynos 7904 chipset, paired up with a 4,000mAh battery with 15W charging speeds. For photography, it could have a 48MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth/macro unit.
It looks like the A24 4G has been downgraded over its predecessor in all aspects, expect the display part. The rumored 14nm Exynos 7904 chipset for A24 5G, which is considerably older than the 6nm Snapdragon 680G that runs the Galaxy A23.
