Samsung has been working on very hard to bring the One UI 5 based Android 13 update for its eligible devices by the end of the year. A few days ago, we also came through a list of the first set of Galaxy devices to get the latest Android upgrade from Samsung. Surprisingly, the mid-ranger Galaxy A53 was also among that list.
The beta version of One UI 5 is already being tested on the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 lineup handsets worldwide. Well, Samsung has expanded its One UI 5 beta even further now for the best-selling line of handsets form Samsung – the Galaxy A52. If you happen to own Galaxy A52, you might have already seen the option to sign up for the Android 13 based One UI 5 beta testing on your phone.
If you didn’t receive the update yet, you can install it by signing into beta program. To apply for the beta program, you just have to apply for the beta program by going to the Samsung Members app where you’ll see a banner about the One UI 5 beta. Tap on the banner and go for the enroll button. Right after enrolling, you’ll receive an OTA update allowing you to update your phone to Android 13 (firmware version A525FXXU4ZVIC / A525FODM4ZVIC / A525FXXU4ZCIB). You’ll be downloading 2GB of build which also includes October 2022’s security patches.
