Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S23 lineup is coming soon, and there’s very little left to learn about the new Galaxy phones. We already know what they look like, that leaked renders point to the same design language as the predecessor, and they will pick up the latest and fastest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and adopts the industry leading 200MP camera concept for the Galaxy S23 Ultra model as the huge primary camera sensor.
The Galaxy S23 series hasn’t been captured on camera until now. The latest leak that comes courtesy of @SonnyDickson, who has published a picture of dummy units, which won’t power on, but still offer a good look of the flagship to come.
Dummy units are often used by case manufacturers to make accessories and to closely resemble the actual phones ahead of the product launch, Even though they’re not very accurate in terms of finish and camera apertures, their overall dimensions should be matching to the official products. Please note that there is a good chance that the official phones may end up looking identical, but not exactly like what you see in this photo.
What you see above is a family shot of the dummy units for the three upcoming Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra phones, giving us a better look at side-by-side comparison between the three models, and these dummies were made to look way closer to the real thing
In fact, these dummy units accurately represent the looks of the real devices. The S23 and S23+ are sharing the same shape with three camera rings on the back, and carrying the similar design of their predecessors. The back panels are flat, and the corners are round.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most intriguing device of all three, and as usual, its dummy unit has arrived in a boxier design, showing off all the side edges and camera bumps that we’ve been talking about for months. If you are interested, you can also match these dummies with the leaked official leather cases of the Galaxy S23 phones.
Samsung officially confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series will be launched at Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1, and also opened reservations in the US and India, offering $50 in Samsung Credit deal in the US for the interested buyers who pre-book their device
