First Official Samsung Galaxy S23 series teaser videos released online

It’s already an open secret that Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event will happen on February 1st, and we’ll see the Galaxy S23 lineup taking off the curtain, and the leaks have been abundant recently. While Samsung has failed so far to keep the Galaxy S23 phones’ design under wrap, a couple of official teaser videos have now leaked in GIF format.

As we approach the early February launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23, it’ll become apparent that the strongest selling point for the latest flagship will be its camera setup. Samsung certainly wants us to believe the hype by releasing these teaser videos. They didn’t reveal anything about the Galaxy S23 series itself, a teaser video is showing off the triple camera setup of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ phones. Another video talks about “megapixels that’ll make you wooow,” so this is obviously teasing about the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is rumored to be featuring a 200MP camera sensor.

The teaser videos are full of quotations and one-liner sentences with buzzwords saying, “Mode for moonlight,” “Capture the night, even in low light,” “Stunning night photos are coming,” “Megapixels that will make you say wow,” “Wow-worthy resolution is coming,” and “soon.”

We’ve been hearing rumors about the improved nighttime photography capabilities of the next Galaxy S23 phones. Samsung has been working on the new primary 200MP camera for the Galaxy S23 Ultra based on an upgraded version of the ISOCELL HP1 sensor, but they don’t have enough resources yet to upgrade the periscope hardware – that upgrade will have to wait until the S24 Ultra. Reports are also saying that the Ultra model will even skimp on the 40MP selfie camera and use a 12MP sensor instead. We hope the new primary camera with 200MP sensor will be able to capture 8K @ 30fps videos using the new chip. To recall, previous-gen models were capped at 24fps.

Similar kind of teaser videos will also be released in the coming days, focusing on different aspects of the Galaxy S23 series, such as design, performance, and so on.
