The launch of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy flagship series, which will include devices such as the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, is barely a few months away. If recent rumors are to be believed, this lineup will be launched in early January 2023. So many leaks and rumors already revealed most features of the upcoming Galaxy S23 series phones.
A recent rumor has suggested that the Galaxy S23 lineup will supposedly carry similar dimensions and display resolutions to the last year’s Galaxy S22 lineup.
A new rumor is giving us some idea, as to what the new Galaxy S23 Ultra phone might feature in the camera department. If the reports are true, Galaxy S23 Ultra models will see the biggest upgrade to the camera resolution: 200MP main camera. According to the leakster Ice Universe, who says not to believe any imaginary news and he is 100 percent sure that S23 Ultra’s 200MP sensor is 1/1.33 inches with 0.6µm pixels and an f/1.7 aperture. If you remember, the current S22 Ultra phone is having 1/1.3 inch 108MP sensor which has 0.8µm pixels and an f/1.8 aperture.
Galaxy S series phones already take some of the best smartphone selfies and great portraits. It remains to be seen what specs updates will come with the Galaxy S23 Ultra though we can safely assume it will use 10MP telephoto sensors of the S22 Ultra with 10x and 3x optical zoom, while it may sport a 6.8-inch QHD+ panel. Samsung is already confirmed it is working on a new phone with the flagship SoC, tentatively named the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Xiaomi is also said to be working on a 200MP camera phone, while Motorola X30 Pro is the first smartphone to feature the HP1 200MP camera. Anyhow, we still have a few months before we hear anything official about the Galaxy S23 handset.
