New details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series have been leaked, including the storage configuration for each model. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will all feature different RAM and internal storage capacities, with the base models of the S24 and S24+ receiving an upgrade in RAM.
According to leaker Tarun Vats, who is known for providing reliable information about upcoming tech releases, Samsung’s flagship lineup for 2024 will see an increase in the minimum amount of RAM offered across all models. While official details have yet to be announced by Samsung, this latest leak gives consumers an idea of what to expect from the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series.
As per the industry insider, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ base models are expected to offer higher RAM capacities than their predecessors. The Galaxy S23 and S23+ currently come with a standard 8GB of RAM, while the Ultra model offers both an 8GB and 12GB variant. In contrast, the Galaxy S24 series is rumored to start with 8GB of RAM, although it is unclear if there will be an 8GB RAM variant.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are said to boast a larger 256GB internal storage, up from the 128GB option in the previous series. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to be Samsung’s flagship model for 2024 and will reportedly be the first device from the brand to feature a massive 16GB of RAM. However, details on its storage options are yet to be confirmed, but we can anticipate a range of models including 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
