It seems Samsung has opened the floodgates for the One UI 5.1 update. Just a few minutes ago, we reported about the rollout of the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series in Europe regions. Multiple reports are now confirming that the Korean manufacturer has also started upgrading the Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Z Flip 4 foldable devices with the latest One UI 5.1 update
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4’s One UI 5.1 update has firmware version F936BXXU1CWAC/F936BOXU1CWAC/F936BXXU1CWAC and requires a download of about 2059.77MB. It comes with the usual One UI 5.1 goodies but bumps up the Android security patch level on the Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 to February 2023.
Expert RAW now built into the camera app on One UI 5.1 build. You will be also getting New One UI 5.1 Battery widget, along with the improved stock apps, family sharing albums in Gallery app, improvements to Samsung DeX, and improvements to multi-device controls
You will see new One UI logo when update your Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 devices, and it looks awesome.
Samsung is seeding the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4 in Germany, UK right now, but the rollout should expand to other Europe regions soon. At this pace, Samsung is expected to release the update across the world before the end of this month.
If you live in Europe based counties and haven’t received One UI 5.1 on your Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4, you can check for it manually by navigating to your smartphone’s Settings > Software update menu.
