Those who still haven’t found something special for this season may want to head over to Sprint stores from tomorrow. The deal is officially any smartphone and get a free ZTE Optik Android tablet. To take advantage of the deal, the interested customers are required to sign a two-year contract agreement with the Now Network. Sprint was selling the ZTE Optik for $99 when it launched in early February.
ZTE Optik tablet packs some decent specs under the hood, including its 7-inch 1280×800 display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear-facing camera, a front-facing 2MP snapper for forwarding video chats, 16GB in-built memory, 32GB memory expandable via microSD card slot and there is a 4000mAh battery to power everything, but the device will ship with out-dated Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS with 3G connectivity inside. There are very less chances of upgrading to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS for the ZTE Optik tablet.
