Google has sent out invites to an Android event in New York City on October 29. The expectations are high from this event. The highly anticipated next-gen Nexus can be the crown jewel for this event. As reported earlier, the next generation of Nexus is expected to be a version of the LG made Optimus G.
The leaky Nexus that is the LG E960 Mako which has been referred to as the Nexus 4 or the Nexus G is likely to make an appearance at the event. Another expected device at the event is the 32GB variant of Nexus 7.
Other possible devices that can make to the event are the rumored 5-inch phablet from HTC, and a 10-inch Nexus-branded tablet made by Samsung. Well we are not sure of any of these devices being officially unveiled at the event but as you know we have to be prepared for any surprises.
Well you might have been already aware that the same day Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 launch event is scheduled. It seems Google did not find any other free dates and may be they want to keep ahead of the competition. Even if you are not able to attend the event due to the long schedules, Google has promised a live video stream on YouTube.
The event will be held at 10AM at Basketball City in New York. The invitation with an RSPV reads “The playground is open”. We will keep you updated on this event as we will be following it closely!
