The Nexus 4 hungry consumers have been waiting for it to be back in-stock at the Google Play Store. But it has been a failure on the part of Google to keep up with the demand. We even tagged it as a “big failure in sale” during Black Friday last week. In some cheering news, it seems the Nexus 4 is back in Google Store, except that you may not be able to purchase it.
“Google Play is currently experiencing very high traffic. Nexus 4 is not sold out and will still be available for purchase. Please try again shortly. Thank you for your patience.’”
As per the statement in Google Play Store selling Nexus 4, the device is in-stock(not sold out) but you cannot buy it due to very high traffic. Well that is a bizarre statement for an internet giant like Google. It is no secret that it has been a disaster regarding the sale of this Nexus device. It will be better for Google to acknowledge the facts and be prepared instead of giving pretexts.
The demand of this device is going to go up, Google and its manufacturer LG should be prepared for it. Critics found that the only drawback of this device was the lack of LTE support. Well new rumors and claims suggests that the device does have an LTE radio that does work. This came to light after a teardown of the device showed an LTE radio chip built it. Even though LG claimed that it will not work with any software tweak, it worked in Rogers Canada’s LTE network.
We fully agree that Nexus 4 is a kick-ass device with an awesome price, but please let the consumers have it in their hands.
