Honor’s upcoming Magic 5 Lite has been doing the rounds in the rumorverse since last month, which apparently means an official announcement isn’t far off. Today a reliable source has revealed that Honor will be asking for €389.90 for the device when it launches in Europe.
We already know what the smartphone will look like, thanks to a Google Play Console listing that was leaked earlier this month. A few specs of the Honor Magic 5 Lite have also leaked already, and now a complete list of the specs has surfaced, along with the official-looking images giving us a clearer picture of Honor’s upcoming mid-range smartphone.
The Honor Magic5 Lite is definitely an upgrade compared to its predecessor, even though the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core SoC with eight up to 2.2 gigahertz fast computing cores and an integrated 5G modem is under the hood. Honor mainly upgrades the display and the cameras.
The source claims that the Honor Magic 5 Lite will run Android 12-based MagicUI 6.1 customized OS out of the box and have Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core SoC with up to 2.2GHz fast computing cores and an integrated 5G modem under the hood with 6GB RAM and single storage options – 128GB. It doesn’t have the microSdD card slot for expanding the internal storage. To recall, the Magic4 Lite also launched in last year with the same Snapdragon 695 chipset onboard.
The phone’s 5,100 mAh battery charges at up to 40W fast speeds via USB-C, and you will get a charger in the box and of course at this price there’s no trace of wireless charging either. The Magic 5 Lite doesn’t have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Reaming specs are Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and two NanoSIM slots. It will be offered in two colors.
