HP Veer, the smallest smartphone in the WebOS stable, which has been announced along with the HP Pre 3 and HP TouchPad tablet and HP promised to release it in early summer.
Regarding the release of this tiny phone, O2 Germany has tweeted that the carrier will start selling the HP Veer from May. No word on pricing yet and it should be the cheap one. We still don’t have the details about the U.S. availability. In the US, we have an "early spring" date to look forward.
HP Veer runs with WebOS 2.1.2 on a 800MHz processor, sporting a 2.6” touch display, equipped with a 5MP camera, portrait QWERTY-slider, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, tri-band UMTS and quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, Accelerometer, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi router functionality, HSPA+ connectivity and much more.
