Late yesterday, we told you about the unconfirmed launch details of the HTC 7 Pro handset by Cellular South. But, U.S. Cellular has started selling this handset from today with a price tag of $199.99 on a two-year contract. The same handset is also offered by Sprint under the name of HTC Arrive. The HTC 7 Pro now becomes the first Windows Phone for U.S. Cellular.
HTC 7 Pro has got a 3.6″ Super LCD screen with 480×800 pixels resolution and 4 point multi-touch, and it sports a 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8250 single-core processor with 576 MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 16GB of internal storage, a 5MP camera with LED flash with capability to record video in 720p HD, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, SRS WOW HD surround sound, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, Assisted GPS, 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, a microUSB 2.0 port, Digital compass, G-Sensor, Proximity sensor, Light sensor, as well as 1500 mAh Lithium-ion battery.

The handset also comes pre-installed with Bing Search and Maps for turn-by-turn directions, Windows Phone Marketplace access, premium Xbox LIVE games, and Zune services.
U.S. Cellular plans to launch seven Androids smartphones and one WP7 launch this year. As part of that, HTC Desire II (Desire S), and HTC Wildfire S are also confirmed to land at U.S. Cellular soon.
