We are pretty sure that the Windows Phone 7 powered HTC Trophy is coming to Verizon Wireless this quarter. Now this handset has made an appearance on Best Buy’s website, with a price tag of $599.99 tied to it, bearing the model number MWP6985. But the webpage has been removed by the retailer. So we can expect the HTC Trophy’s launch very soon by Verizon Wireless.
HTC Trophy was expected to land at Verizon ever since February, but was delayed due to unknown reasons.
It is being heard that both Sprint and Verizon handsets will be launching with Microsoft’s “NoDo” update. “NoDo” is Microsoft’s first major update and will preinstalled the highly anticipated copy and paste feature. This update will also improve application’s start-up and resume times.
The device will sport a 3.8-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen display along with 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, 16GB storage, Bluetooth 2.1, and equipped with a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, 16GB storage. The device is also a “world phone” and contains a quad-band GSM radio. It is also being confirmed that the Verizon branded HTC 7 Tropy will be launching, pre-installed with Microsoft’s “NoDo” update, which brings the highly anticipated copy and paste feature.
