Time for another round of “ICS update” news now. A few days ago, T-Mobile started pushing out the Android ICS update for its HTC Sensation 4G handsets and promised to bring the update for the HTC Amaze 4G on May 21st. As promised earlier, the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update is now being sent out to the owners of the HTC Amaze 4G handsets. The new software version will be 2.14.531.3710RD. The new firmware OTA update does bring with it several goodies, like HTC’s Sense 3.6 UI, resizable widgets, improved battery life, Data usage controls and more.

You can also check for the update manually by going into Menu > Settings > About phone > HTC software updates > Check –> Follow the on-screen instructions and let the update do its task.
