The HTC Bliss is rumored to be the first Android OS powered smartphone aimed specifically at women. HTC Bliss comes pre-installed with an unknown version of Android OS, and it is said to be having a wireless charging dock with built-in speakers, and the phone will automatically switch to ‘alarm mode’ when it’s going to be set on the charging pad. A square speaker that can be attached to a car visor will also be available, as well as a ‘stylish’ Bluetooth headset. The Bliss has a greenish color, and the back of the phone will be rubbery.
HTC Bliss sports a 3.7-inch Super-LCD touchscreen display delivering 480 X 800 pixels of resolution, powered by a single-core Qualcomm MSM 8255 processor clocked at 1GHz frequency, 768MB RAM to keep device running, equipped with a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera to record 720p HD videos, video calling capable front-facing VGA CMOS Color fixed focus camera, 4GB built-in memory storage, 8GB mciroSD card pre-installed having the scope for memory expansion up to 32GB, Charm Indicator, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB 3.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity, Wi-Fi Hotspot, global roaming capability, a set of pre-installed HTC apps, 1600mAh battery, Android Market and a full host of Google services.
The Charm Indicator will act as an attachment to the handset, so that it can light up when the handset is receiving some action. If the device is in a purse, this charm indicator can be hanged outside to let the users know by lighting up during incoming calls or texts.
