The Facebook-centric Android powered HTC Chacha has already arrived in Europe, and is set to release by Vodafone UK very soon. A couple of days ago, we’ve reported about the first firmware over-the-air (OTA) update for HTC Chacha, which brings a few application and system enhancements. The latest rumors spreading around the web are suggesting that HTC has decided to boost the HTC Chacha’s processor clock speed by another (increase of 33%) 200MHz, making it to 800MHz. HTC Chacha is currently equipped with a 600MHz processor inside it. Anyhow, the 800MHz CPU would really help the device to perform faster, providing a good battery life.
In case you forgot, HTC Chacha features a full QWERTY keyboard beneath the 2.6-inch touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and an additional front-facing VGA camera for video chat. HTC Chacha is lucky to be running the latest Gingerbread (v 2.3.3) flavor of Android OS, and it offers will offer HTC SenseTM, a dedicated Facebook button for one-touch access, 512MB RAM, 512MB of internal memory, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, 1250mAh battery, and more.

The release date of HTC Chacha is till mysterious for the U.S. region. AT&T is supposed to bring this handset in the near future.
