Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has introduced three handsets HTC Wildfire S, Desire S, and Incredible S at Mobile World Congress show in February. But HTC has yet to announce the U.S. availability of these three handsets. It looks like, HTC Desire II aka HTC Desire S, and the HTC Wildfire S are heading to the U.S. soon. Both these handsets have appeared in U.S. Cellular’s inventory system. A few days ago, we’ve learned that the U.S. Cellular will be offering 7 new Gingerbread handsets by the end of this year. So it is has been now confirmed that the customers of U.S. Cellular are going to rock the aforementioned two Android Gingerbread powered HTC handsets in the near future.
HTC Desire II or Desire S is the successor of the original Desire, and it will be packed with Qualcomm MSM8255 1GHz Snapdragon CPU with 768MB of RAM, 1.1GB of ROM, Android Gingerbread OS, sporting a 3.7-inch Super LCD display with a WVGA 480×800 resolution, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM radio, microUSB, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED-flash on the back can take record 720p videos, an additional front facing fixed focused VGA camera for video chat, a 1450 mAh battery, micro-SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB etc.

HTC Wildfire S is the successor to the original HTC Wildfire handset, and it comes with Gingerbread OS, 3.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels, 600MHz chipset, 5MP camera with LED Flash, micro-SD card slot with support up to 32GB memory expansion, 3G, Wi-Fi, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, HTC Sense UI and much more.

HTC Wildfire S might be hitting T-Mobile network on the name of HTC Marvel in the near future. Bell is currently holding this handset with a price tag of $249.99 off-contract.
