Droid Incredible 2 by HTC has been officially unveiled by Verizon this Tuesday. You can order it online right now and receive free overnight shipping, for the decent no contract price of $439.99 and it will cost you $199.99 on a 2-year agreement with Verizon Wireless. The $439.99 no contract price seems to be interesting if you compare it to the recently unveiled rugged Casio G’zOne Commando smartphone which was priced with no contract at $449.99.
The handset might have been launched in stores already considering that today is Thursday the day when the Droid Incredible 2 is supposed to hit the stores. Anyhow, head over to a nearby store to you and check it out if they are already having the device in stock.
HTC Droid Incredible 2 is having a 4 inch screen size, which is reasonably large and beautiful, but with 4.3″ phones sitting right next to it, it’s going to look smaller and possibly less attractive. Incredible 2 is running on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel camera with support for 720p HD video capture, Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, 1.3 MP front-facing webcam, 16GB micro-SD card in the box, DLNA capability, 3G Mobile Hotspot capability, Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
Unfortunately, Droid Incredible 2 is lacking 4G LTE radio and dual-core processor inside.
