Verizon has officially announced that the Droid Incredible 2 will be launched on Thursday, April 28th. So we are just two away from now. The handset would cost you $199.99 and the users should sign the 2-year contract with Verizon. On the same date, Verizon will also be releasing the Samsung Droid Charge handset which is coming with the 4G LTE capability with a price tag of $299.99. So it’s up to you to decide to choose between 4G LTE Droid Charge phone and 3G capable Incredible 2 phone.
HTC Droid Incredible 2 is a world phone and it offers a slightly larger 4 inch Super LCD display than the original Droid Incredible, running with Froyo, on a 1GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats. It also packs a 3G Mobile Hotspot feature that allows you to share your Verizon 3G connection with other Wi-Fi compatible devices, 16GB pre-installed micro-SD card, 768MB RAM.
As its a World phone, it has both a CDMA and GSM radio inside and it will support global roaming for “more than 220 voice and 200 data services countries.”
