HTC is reportedly prepping to launch the first quad-core processor equipped handset very soon. According to MoDaCo website, the HTC Endeavor handset will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona this month. HTC Endeavor, code named as “Edge” is also said to be hit the markets as “HTC Supreme”.
According to the previous reports, the HTC Endeavor handset packs a powerful Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 4.7-inch touchscreen display with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution, an 1.3-megapixel shooter out front, and an 8 megapixel camera on the rear side with an f/2.2 lens and 1080p HD video recording capability, 1GB RAM, quad band HSPA+ radio, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n connectivity, all running in Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
We’ve already seen a test photo captured by the HTC Endeavor handset. Another unheard HTC-made Ice Cream Sandwich OS running handset is also in the works, which is expected to be graced the upcoming MWC event this month. No word on the retail availability and the price tag info of the HC Endeavor handset yet. If the handset does get announced at MWC this month, we’ll know everything about the handset.
