This handset is the GSM version of the U.S. branded HTC EVO 3D having all the high-end specifications including the glasses-free 3D viewing capability, with a couple of 5 MP cameras on its back, a hardware two-position shutter button, and powerful hardware inside it.
HTC EVO 3D runs with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, skinned with HTC Sense UI on a 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon processor, sporting a 4.3 inches 16:9 qHD (960 x 540 pixel) Super LCD display with Auto Stereoscopic 3D technology, equipped with dual 5 Megapixels rear-facing cameras for stereoscopic capture, that can record stereoscopic 3D video at HD resolution – 720p HD video in 3D, 1080p HD video in 2D and an additional 1.3 Megapixels front-facing camera for video chat, HDR mode for capturing images, 1GB of RAM, 1GB of internal storage that can be expanded to a total of 32GB using a microSD card (and an 8GB card included in the package in some territories).
EVO 3D’s display can be switched between 2D and 3D. HTC EVO 3D handset can output the 720p 3D and 1080p HD video content via HDMI port, users can view 3D content on your 3D TV using the EVO’s HDMI out, DLNA functionality, powered by a 1730mAh battery, pre-installed YouTube 3D app, 3.5mm stereo headset jack, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n, stereo Bluetooth, or built-in GPS receiver with support for Google Maps, Android Market and a whole host of Google services.
