You guys might now that RadioShack has already started selling Sprint’s WiMAX capable handset HTC EVO Shift 4G starting today. And now Best Buy has started taking pre-orders of EVO Shift 4G. Best Buy will offer this QWERTY-slider phone for $149.99 with a new 2-year agreement with the Sprint carrier and you can adopt it at a standard price of $549.99 with out any contract. The device will start shipping on January 7th. The phone is yet to announce at CES 2011. Sprint will start selling this handset from January 9th. for the same prices.
HTC EVO Shift 4G comes with 3.6 inch display, Android Froyo, second-gen Snapdragon 800MHz chipset, Android 2.2 Froyo, HTC Sense and equipped with e-mail services, Web browsing, a QWERTY keyboard and a built-in 5.0 Megapixels digital camera with dual-LED flash and can run on both 3G and 4G networks and have Wi-Fi, WiMAX, Sprint Mobile Hotspot capability. The handset is having 8GB on board storage with microSD card slot support up to 32GB.
