It looks like the ‘leaking season’ of the unannounced handsets has started now. Windows Phone 7 powered HTC handset, named as HTC Ignite, has leaked on a Chinese based tech blog, xda.cn. The blog is referring some specs too. But the detailed specs are not meeting the hardware requirements of Microsoft.
According the source, HTC Ignite runs with Windows Phone 7 OS on a 800MHz processor, sporting a 3.7-inch resistive touchscreen display,and equipped with a 512MB of RAM, and 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. Both the 800MHz chipset and 3.7’ resistive touch screen features doesn’t tally with Microsoft’s standard criteria.
HTC Ignite is also having the HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 2 Mbps connectivity feature. However, the handset is sporting featuring a smooth and sleek form factor with an attractive looking. The HTC Ignite would be the 6th Windows Phone 7 birth from the manufacturing company.
HTC Ignite is expected to be launched sometime in mid-2011.
