HTC M7 rumors are keep popping up these days. Last week, we saw a couple of alleged renders of the HTC M7 handset. Later, new pictures have been released this week, giving us an idea what the new phone may look like. So, now we’ve seen the device. What about the launch dates. All the previous reports indicated that the handset could be announced in late February at MWC. But a new report claiming that we won’t see it at MWC 2013 trade show and it might be unveiled a bit earlier, during a separate event. That means the manufacturer has decided to give a special attention to the HTC M7 phone.
An Italian insider who has connections in the smartphone field has tweeted that HTC M7 will be made official at a dedicated event on February 19, which translates into a week prior to MWC trade show. The event will take place in London. If it’s a believable piece of information, we’d expect to see invitations distribution to the press from HTC in the coming weeks.
According to the previously leaked renders and images, the M7 is expected to feature an edge-to-edge display, curvy corners and a dual-speaker arrangement. As far as design goes, the HTC M7′s design looks slightly similar to the HTC Droid DNA
It has also been rumored to be touting a 4.7-inch 1080p Full HD display, which is a little smaller than the 5-inch display of the Droid DNA and other 5-inch 1080p Android phones. It will also offer a pixel density of 468PPI, packing a 1.7GHz quad-core processor from Qualcomm, 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC, 13MP rear camera with larger f/2.0 lens, and boots Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with Sense 5 UI on top of it. We’ve also discussed about the leaked screenshots of the Sense 5 UI.
@evleaks claims that the HTC M7 will be available at Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. But, the Magenta carrier, T-Mobile is missing from the list. Remember, we can’t speculate the carrier availability and its launch date, until this device is officially announced. Stay tuned to Gadgetian.
