HTC announced another Android powered smartphone, offers a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, HTC Merge. HTC confirmed that the handset will arrive on multiple US carriers in this spring. HTC Merge is the first Android-based CDMA world phone hitting US. In fact, it is having dual-mode CDMA/GSM functionality.
HTC Merge comes with Android 2.2 Froy OS, skinned with HTC’s Sense UI, sporting a 3..8 inchesĀ touch screen, equipped with 5 Megapixels camera with 720p HD video capturing capability and autofocus, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi connectivity, Android Market and much more.
Price & Availability
HTC Merge scheduled to launch through the multiple North American operators beginning in spring 2011. Verizon and Sprint Wireless will be among the carriers to offer the Merge. No official confirmations on the pricing details yet.
