T-Mobile and HTC have yet to make their formal announcements for the brand new HTC One S handset. While the latest rumors put the launch of the HTC One S handset on April 25th in the U.S., the carrier is preparing for an even next Wednesday, April 18th, where it will officially unveil the handset. T-Mobile today sent members of the media invites to an event and there will also be a live performance by indie-pop band Dale Earnhardt JR. JR and the event is scheduled for 7pm.
The carrier hasn’t specified the actual release date, but April 25th release of the HTC One S handset is still on the cards. As usual, it’s hard to predict the exact release window at the moment.
HTC One S will come with 4.3-inch qHD display, Android 4.0 ICS OS filled with HTC Sense UI 4.0 on top of it, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 (28nm “Krait” based) dual-core chipset, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, and more.
