According to a Best Buy internal memo, that was leaked a few days ago, both the Motorola Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX editions were supposed to receive the Android ICS update on April 4th. But, we haven’t find any reports yet of any such updates nor any signs on the handsets’ specific support webpages of the Verizon’s website. A new leaked internal memo of the Best Buy has noted that the scheduled Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for both the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx handsets had been delayed. A couple of days ago, we looked at a leaked ICS ROM for the Motorola Droid RAZR, but later it was pulled due to some unknown reasons, but it will get another bug fixing update very soon.
Well, the good news is that HTC Rezound is still on schedule today, April 6th to get its Android 4.0 ICS update. The updated Best Buy employee news also advising to check back for future news. best But hasn’t provided the details about when the ICS update may actually begin rolling out for the Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR Maxx devices.
