Looks like HTC Rezound owners could be seeing Ice Cream Sandwich update today, if this leaked document is to be believed, which is currently circling around many tech websites. In fact, we have been hearing about Ice Cream Sandwich update for Rezound since last 5 months. In late March, Best Buy has assured that the update would be available in April. Earlier this month, we got word from HTC that the update will be released by the end of July month.
The latest memo leaked from Verizon sources, seems to be real deal this time. As you can see in the above image, Sunday, July 29th is slated to be the day that the HTC Rezound handset see the Android 4.0 update. According to the document, the ICS update weighs in at 292MB of size.
Unfortunately, the HTC Rezound software update details haven’t been updated yet on the Verizon ‘s support web pages. We are still seeing doc pages for the previous update v2.01.605.11 on Verizon’s website. Big Red network has also yet to confirm about when the ICS update may actually begin rolling out to the Rezound handsets. Hopefully Rezound owners won’t have to wait too long for the ICS update, although many of you guys are eagerly waiting for the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
