A couple of days ago, T-Mobile promised to begin rolling out the Android ICS update for HTC Sensation 4G handset on May 16th. As promised earlier, the most awaited Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update is now rolling out for the HTC Sensation 4G handsets in the U.S. The update will bring the software version number 3.32.531.14710RD.
Along with Android 4.0.3 ICS goodies, you will also get Sense 3.6, system bar enhancements , re-sizeable widgets, Face Unlock feature to let you unlock the device with your face recognition, data usage controls, folders, improved battery life, improved text input & spell checking, as well as the Lock screen actions including pull down notifications and adjust volume while device is locked.

The 320MB update roll-out process is going all the way now. So, you should get notification alerts (as shown in the above image) on your HTC Sensation 4G handset. You can also force your handset to check for the update by heading over to Home –> Menu –> About Phone –> HTC Software Update –> and tap the Check button –> After receiving a notification that you received the update, hit Download button –> and tap Install Now button –> Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for a while until the update process finishes successfully and the software version number should be shown as 3.32.531. Enjoy Android 4.0.3 ICS goodies. Rooted users won’t be able download the update.
