HTC has already announced last month that it will start upgrading the HTC Sensation, Sensation 4G, Sensation XE and Sensation Xl handset to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS by the end of March. It looks like the update roll out will be begin very soon. The manufacturer has just confirmed that that are in the early stages of rolling out Android 4.0 for the HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE handsets. The update should start rolling out in the next few weeks.
The Android 4.0 ICS update for HTC Sensation 4G and Sensation XL update is said to follow after that. This is a great news for the T-Mobile customers as the list also contains the T-Mobile branded HTC Sensation 4G handset. Australia based Telstra network has already started rolling out Android ICS update for its HTC Velocity 4G handset, which would be known as the LTE capable HTC Vivid here in the U.S. through AT&T network. The update also brings the latest HTC Sense 3.6 UI for the HTC Velocity handset. HTC Sense 3.6 UI has been introduced with the recently launched HTC One V handset at MWC 2012 event along with T-Mobile branded HTC One S and a quad-core HTC One X (also known as One XL for AT&T)handsets, which will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out-of-the-box.
