We are pretty sure that Verizon is prepping to launch the new LTE capable second HTC-made handset and it might be called as “Vigor”, which has been teasing us for a while now. A few days ago, we’ve seen this device passing through the FCC doors and a couple of the leaked images have also popped up online showing us a glimpse of the backside of the phone. Here, we’ve the first press shot of the HTC Vigor handset and we can say that its design wise, this handset is much identical to the HTC Droid Incredible handset. Recent rumors have started claiming that the Vigor will be launched as HTC Thunderbolt 2 or else it will replace the Verizon’s first LTE capable Thunderbolt handset.
Specs wise, HTC Vigor is expected to be having a 4.3-inch HD display with 720 X 1280 pixels of resolution, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, video calling capable front-facing camera and it will be powered by a super-fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor running Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense 3.5 on top of it. The handset is also said to feature Beats by Dr.Dre Audio, but we haven’t seen the Beats logo on the back side of the previously leaked live images. The recently launched HTC Sensation XE is going to ship with the Beats technology pre-installed with it.
